A feel good House remix with vibes perfect for the summer!
Singer-songwriter Matt Maeson enlists Swedish pop trio Miike Snow for the remix of his gut-wrenchingly powerful track “Cringe,” off of his debut EP Who Killed Matt Maeson, out now. Maeson reflects on the making of “Cringe,” stating the song “came from the response of a few different people who I thought truly cared about me, but when the going got tough, instead of caring for me, they condemned me, ultimately pushing me further into the toxic lifestyle I was living at the time.” Maeson’s raw account of his past struggles is brought to life in the “Cringe” companion video , “a battered and bloodied portrait of the musician, laying bare struggles with faith as he slowly, triumphantly surmounts the odds ( SPIN ).”
