(extremely catchy): CONRO explains what it’s like making music on a chicken farm

Canadian producer Conor Patton, better known as Conro, was always destined to make a name for himself as a musician.

His debut release ‘Axiom’ was signed to Kindergarten at the tail end of 2012, and after hitting #8 on the Beatport electro house charts, his rapid journey through the crazy world of dance music has been non-stop ever since. Support from some of the biggest names on the scene soon followed, with Conro seeing his music championed by the likes of Porter Robinson, Tommy Trash, Knife Party, and plenty more.

He tells EDM Throne’s that he is still living on chicken farm in his native British Columbia, close enough to the bright lights of Vancouver to remain in touch with city life, but surrounding himself with enough peace and quiet that he can grow as an artist, and further nurture his musical talent. BAWK BAWK

Truthfully, the production of this track sounds very far off from a local farm.  Have no idea how he does it.

While his productions were setting the dance music world on fire, Conro took his first steps into touring, joining the Bassjackers and Dyro on a North American bus tour in 2014, a year that also saw him share a stage with the legend that is Wolfgang Gartner at the iconic Avalon Hollywood in front of 2000 fans. Will be a cool brand pair to see him team up with them, looking forward to what is to come.

“over the past year I have kept all my music writing behind closed doors working on something new. I redefined my passion for music and decided to write something different” – CONRO

The future certainly looks bright for Conro, with a musical ability and a knack for kicking out top-notch productions, bettered only by his solid drive and relentless determination to make music that matters.
