Costi, the Grammy-nominated producer, is releasing today “Come Alive” (feat Alix).
Costi Ioniță, known mononymously as Costi, is a singer, songwriter and record producer, regarded as one of the most celebrated Balkan vocalists.
“Come Alive” comes as a shift in the artist’s musical direction, with Costi and Alix bringing a new sound to the dance scene, using edgy lyrics and hauntingly beautiful melodies.
“Come Alive” tells the story of longing for a love that never lives up to expectations. While the rhythm sinks in and the melodies take the mind to distant places, the listener cant help but dance.

The duo were brought together in a Santa Monica studio for a session by one of the writers on Justin Bieber’s “Purpose”.

Costi is one of the most influencial and internationally acclaimed Romanian artist and producer, having worked alongside famous artists such as Shaggy, Kat DeLuna, Mohombi, Bob Sinclair and Faydee among others.
Born in Constanţa, he began his musical career by singing Romanian traditional music.
His work on Shaggy’s 2011 album “Summer in Kingston” earned him a Grammy nomination in the “Best Raggae Album” category.
“Come Alive” is the first release from Costi’s new project, which is set to cover various musical genres while collaborating with artists from all over the world
