MARSHMELLO DEBUTS BRAND NEW REMIX OF MARTIN GARRIX AT ULTRA SINGAPORE

Ultra Music Festival‘s sophomore installment of their yearly Singapore destination this past weekend was defined by its stunning array of diverse musical acts and powerful event arrangement. Featuring headlining sets from the likes of Deadmau5, Afrojack, DJ Snake, Kygo, Nero and many more, the proceedings were met with excitement and energy from the event series’ international base of attendees.

On Sunday afternoon, masked producer Marshmello took to Ultra’s main stage to perform a soaring arrangement of future bass-inspired tracks, including a healthy assortment of his own instantaneously recognizable, high-pitched concoctions. In addition to his usual roster of squealing, 16th note-ridden originals, he was caught previewing a brand new remix of Martin Garrix’s own “Oops” for the very first time.

Featuring the usual combination of pitched synth, kick and snare, rapid shaker and foundational, growling bass synth, the track is less than a stone’s throw away from the rest of the producer’s recent work. With the added bonus of the Garrix namedrop, however, we’re certain this track will quickly become a heavily streamed hit.
