Palm Tree Gang – Time To Rebel

Prepare your rebel yell; Lexxmatiq and the Palm Tree Gang have unleashed the biggest trap tune of the year. ‘Time To Rebel’ showcases the Gang’s beautiful synths, hard-hitting bass, and jarringly optimistic horns. The tone is set by the descending rastafarian drums, and the mesmerizing vocals of Chulu.

10% of ‘Time To Rebel’s proceeds will be donated to the Coral Reef Alliance – To address threats like water pollution, overfishing, and the proven warming of our oceans. Learn more at Coral.Org.

Viga – Polina – Little Babylon (Viga Remix)

Inspired by the sounds of tropical house (Kygo, Madeon) and motivated by the collapsing local economy in Stavanger, Norway, producer Viga has rapidly entered the scene with smooth memorable melodies and crisp percussive layers.

Since his start of producing in mid 2015, he has released a number singles including a remix of Tove Lo’s “Talking Body” which has accumulated over 100K+ plays on Soundcloud, but recently taken down among with several popular remixes due to scares from the SoundCloud copyright bot.

This deep house remix features some tropical elements aswell as an orchestral feeling such as cello and violin.
Mashing together Polina’s hot vocals with saxophone, bells and popping sounds turned out to be a great idea.

Cherney X VNDL – Time Will Tell (ft.Cyphr)

CHERNEY & VNDL ft. CYPHR GIVE US A LIVE INSTRUMENT INFUSED TAKE ON THE FUTURE HOUSE GENRE WITH “TIME WILL TELL”

(New York, NY – July 28, 2016) – Hailing from opposite sides of North America, Cherney (Los Angeles) & VNDL (New York) join forces to craft a melodic future bass sound, boosted by the power of live guitar. For both producers, “Time Will Tell” was a step out of the comfort zone for both artist, leaving behind the genres their fans have come to know them for (Cherney: Dubstep / VNDL: Trap) and branch out into the realms of future bass.

Newcomer and New York native VNDL fresh off the back of his tracks Vandal, Rudeboy, and You, VNDL is starting to make serious waves within the industry already having been directly supported by Skrillex for his “Drop that Low” remix.

Cherney a 22-year-old dubstep, trap, and hybrid producer from Los Angeles, California. Producing since the age of 14, he has consistently pumped out track after track. Cherney’s hard work ethic and persistence has gotten him releases on CR2 Records, Captivation Records, Trapstyle and more. His most successful track with Julian Benasis titled, “Raxx”, has been played out all over the world by the likes of Herobust, KAYZO, Jauz, Adventure Club, Ookay, Carnage, Bear Grillz, Eptic and many more. Cherney continues to work full time on his craft in pursuit of a successful career in the industry.

“Time Will Tell” is a testament to both producer’s versatility and talent. The addicting vocal chops and the inclusion of live guitar really bring the whole record to the next level.

Jones – Indulge (Jarreau Vandal)

It seems as though everyone is talking about Jones right now. Singers come and go, especially in the cut-throat London pop scene, but with an already impressive body of work – Jones looks destined to stick around. Ahead of the release of her debut album ‘New Skin’, her popularity is growing by the day, and this remix of ‘Indulge’ is only going to help her cause.

Jarreau Vandal came onto the scene with an early white label release on the effortlessly cool Soulection label, and has since gone on to tour worldwide, release an EP – the lead single ‘Small Talk’ was Tune of the Week on BBC Radio 1Xtra, currently playlisted on ESPN and achieved top five chart positions on the UK, US and Global Spotify Viral Charts. Mr Vandal is now due to go on a stateside tour with What So Not from mid-September.

More recently, Jarreau Vandal collaborated with Mr Carmack on a cover of Rihanna’s James Joint, which led to Annie Mac premiering the track as an FMM on her Annie Mac Present’s Soundcloud channel.

The two worlds of pop soul and electronic RnB collide on this track.

UZ – Trap Shit 16 (UZ & MYRNE Remix)

Landing as a free download the week of August 22nd comes the UZ & MYRNE collaborative remix of UZ’s very own ‘Trap Shit 16’.

There is something undeniably infectious about this distinctive rework, and UZ’s commanding style sits brilliantly with classically influenced vibes from MYRNE – who arrived as an artist at the latter stages of 2015 via his debut EP for Mad Decent.

‘Together, UZ & MYRNE have poured a heady blend of future bass, hip hop and trap into their edit, opening with a riff-laden introduction and snatches of vocals before switching things up for a grooving, rhythmically textured sound. The tune is filled with funky, choppy edits and contrasting moments of smooth electronica – an essential listen for fans of the original and a chance to witness two talents at work.

Tzlil – City Friends

Israeli pop sensation Tzlil announces the international release of her debut EP ‘Tzlil 3.1’. The tracks “Oh My Love” “Let Go” and “City Friends” represent a stylistic evolution in the singers sound and have already garnered radio play and press coverage at home and abroad.

Tzlil is inspired by international pop music with her own Middle-Eastern twist. The Tel Aviv native first made a name for herself when she was featured on Metropolin’s 2012 hit “You Tire Me Out”. Since then she has carved out a career for herself performing at Israel’s largest indie music festival InDnegev as well as the international showcase festival Tune In Tel Aviv. Most recently she was selected to perform at the Liverpool Sound City festival in the UK in May 2016.

Tzlil chose to release her recent material under a new format she is calling 3P; a 3-song EP,throughout the year seasonal 3Ps will be released and performed as a concept concert, utilizing various visual and multi-disciplinary arts.Nothing is left to chance in her musical and visual vision.

“No emotion is minor in her world as she pairs soft, echoing synth with Middle Eastern atmospherics, while detailing the topography of knotty relationships” – Noisey

“Tzlil takes the stage. She is spectacular. With a voice that’s soft yet deceptively powerful, she moves through crisp electro-pop and smoky, synth-heavy jams; think Lana Del Rey fronting a blissed out Chvrches, and you’re halfway there” – Drowned in Sound

Lynn – Can’t Let Go

Lynn wrote and composed her debut single “Can’t Let Go” with producer Yoad Nevo (who has famously worked with Sia, Goldfrapp and Morcheeba, to name a few) at Nevo Sound Studios in London.

Rob Bravery – You Take Half (Ivy Lab 20 20 Mix)

IVY LAB TURNS IN 20/20 REMIX OF ‘YOU TAKE HALF’ BY ROB BRAVERY

STREAM HERE

North London trio Ivy Lab have reworked Rob Bravery’s brooding new track ‘You Take Half’, with a trademark 20/20 remix. The mix is the first new music to come from the Ivy Lab studio since the revered ‘Can’t Say No’ with Roses Gabor in May.

Sabre, Stray and Halogenix (comprising Ivy Lab), bring new bassy depth to Rob’s poignant and introspective record. The original version of the song, which Rob recorded with Liam Howe (FKA Twigs, Lana Del Rey), was unveiled earlier this month and has received acclaim, with critics saluting its echoes of the electronic sounds synonymous with fellow Bristol acts Sneaker Pimps (of which Liam Howe was a member), Portishead and Massive Attack.

‘You Take Half’ features on an EP of the same title, to be released via Insanity Records on September 2.
