New Music You Need To Hear | End Of February

Raiden ft. Bright Lights – Heart Of Steel

To set the tone for an incredible 2017, look no further than the newest track from Raiden, Korea’s fastest rising talent. Titled “Heart of Steel”, this future bass anthem is reminiscent of Odesza’s chill, groovy beats with a fresh-faced flair. “Heart of Steel” is Raiden’s debut original production, and it sets the bar high with melancholic piano melodies, soul-shaking synths and stunning vocals from the Grammy-nominated Bright Lights. This dynamic track is bound to find a home both on the dance floors and in earphones around the globe in 2017!

Headhunterz – Landslide

Dutch DJ and producer Willem Rebergen aka Headhunterz is back today with a hot new single via Ultra Records. Walking the fine line of creative freedom and success, Headhunterz pulls off an admirable balancing act. Driven by an open mind and the desire to be free of expectations, music has become a playground to the man we know as Headhunterz. The past decade has taken him on a rollercoaster ride of a journey – with roots that have built him a strong and solid ground to start from. Following his own, inner flow, his sounds have grown all the more colorful, genre-bending and unique.

His latest “Landslide” is a synth heavy, downtempo jam with cheeky vocals. “I just want to claim the freedom to make the music I love,” he shares.

Headhunterz character resounds in each of his originals, remixes and sets, celebrated by an engaged, worldwide fan base. He’s collaborated with the likes of Krewella, W&W, Carnage, Crystal Lake, Hardwell, Reunify, R3hab and Steve Aoki. Highlights of his studio experiments include ‘The Universe Is Ours’, ‘The Power of Now’, ‘To Be Me’, ‘Won’t Stop Rocking’ and ‘Live Your Life’. Chart-topping remixes for Kaskade, Hardwell, Armin van Buuren, Zedd and Avicii prove Headhunterz’ move forward, following his instincts and setting new, musical challenges.

Be on the lookout for more creative turns this year from Headhunterz.

KING – Hello Hello

Danish rising star KING further establishes her claim as one of pop music’s most exiting young talents with the release of ‘Hello Hello’, a fierce, life-affirming record about making the most from chance meetings.

Sumera – Animal

This song is part of a series that represent her personal exploration of isolation through devotion; examining the process of becoming a shadow of oneself and being confronted with both the strength and fragility of desiring things that will destroy one.

Sumera wrote and produced all songs with the help of her friend, Berlin based producer XNDR.

She was also in charge of the Art Direction and Editing of her own Video.

A wanderer at heart and of Caribbean, Colombian and Portuguese heritage, Sumera has spent the past years roaming through Europe and developing her own sound. Nowadays Sumera spends most of her time writing in her Berlin studio. New music is being released throughout 2017.

Attom – Better Feat. Justin Stein (Barrens Chatter Remix)

Kwon – Reflection Pool

Justin Kwon – better known as Kwon – is a rapidly rising Washington DC-based independent producer with a lot of buzz and an ultra-talented circle of friends including Jai Wolf, Stephen, Manila Killa, Hotel Garuda, and Imad Royal. “Reflection Pool” is his second single and the follow up to his remix of Steve James’ ” In My Head ” which reached #3 on Hype Machine. His debut single ” Forever ” was premiered on Run The Trap in September and has over 180,000 plays on Soundcloud. Justin played alongside Hotel Garuda and Jai Wolf at Snowglobe this year and opened for Whethan at his sold-out DC show just a few weeks ago!

Modesty – Catching Fires

Modesty is an 18 years old producer from Sweden, who loves making music he personally likes. This song is a very powerful song with deep contrast between the different parts in the song to make it form a story and surprise the listener. We are ready to see Modesty entering the charts very soon!

ICARUS – King Kong

From the outlandish big room vibe of their FFRR debut ‘Ride This Train’ to the ethereal ‘Home’ and the nocturnal cinematic scope of ‘October’, ICARUS have proven to be impossible to second guess.

Testament to their eclectic ability is Radio 1’s consistent support with multiple plays from Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Danny Howard, Monki, Phil Taggart and Mistajam. Most recently, their edit of Arle’s ‘Close To You’ became their second Hottest Record in the World – almost a year to the day since ‘Home’ earned the same accolade.

Now ICARUS present their first new track of 2017 with ‘King Kong’. If you call a track ‘King Kong’ it has to be a beast, and that’s exactly what Bristol-based brothers Ian and Tom Griffiths have delivered. Recalling the exuberant song-crafted energy of Basement Jaxx, ‘King Kong’ exudes potent dynamism from every element of the production, from the booming bass to the urgent percussion to the vocal’s urgent rallying cry: “That motherfucker’s getting down like King Kong!”

If ‘October’ or the emotionally-charged cinematic scope of ‘They Are Not Like You’ was your introduction to ICARUS, ‘King Kong’might feel like a reinvention. But for ICARUS it’s simply the latest expression in their freewheeling desire to twist beyond expectations, genres and moods.

TJani – Pad Thai (Feat. Gracie)

For nearly a decade, NYC Producer, Dj, and Chemist, Tjani has sharpened his skills and developed his fanbase through memorable remixes and world-class sets. Apparently, remixes like  Halsey’s “Hurricane” , ASTR’s “Activate Me ” and a residency at the Historic Webster hall were only the beginning. After years of mastering his craft, TJANI has begun a new chapter in his career, releasing his first original track “Pad Thai” ft. Gracie.

This silky smooth track is an ode to love itself. In an era where it’s not cool to love or trust anyone, including self, Pad Thai dares to be different and actually love love. Co-produced and co-written by 1-900 (ASTR & Joey Bada$$ “ Devastated ”, ” Victory “) “Pad Thai” is an infectiously uplifting house track that is a testament to both producers sonic versatility. This vocally driven club cut has sultry vocals, memorable melodies, a catchy hook and lovely female lead.  With all this Chaos in the world, it’s time for a love song.  If Pad Thai is the appetizer, the world wants whatever Tjani is cooking.

Bradley Allan – A R I Z O N A – Oceans Away (BRADLEY ALLAN REMIX)

Bradley Allan is a LA based Music Producer whose credits include Nicki Minaj, Shontelle, Mya, Nikki Flores, BRKLYN, Jacky Greco, London Ellis, Brooke Williams & others. He is also half of LA production collective NEO NOIR with producer Greg Ogan. Look for their first release on Trap Nations label Lowly Palace top of April 2017.

After hearing A R I Z O N A ‘s song “Oceans Away,” I was compelled to remix it from my perspective. I chose to kind of straddle the line down the middle between future bass / Future Trap while still keeping some of the pop elements. This is fourth remix of 2017 with Lucians “Sick Of Love” next up.
