SLANDER & RIOT – You Don’t Even Know Me

Just a month after releasing their metal-dubstep fusion single “Kneel Before Me” with Asking Alexandriaand CrankdatSLANDER turns their sound on its head yet again with their new collaborative release “You Don’t Even Know Me.” SLANDER joined forces with up-and-coming Israeli duo RIOT for the vocal bass ballad, built upon cinematic melodies that plunge into a powerful drop with smooth, yet reverberating, basslines. “You Don’t Even Know Me” feels poignant and slightly melancholy as the production is complemented by emotive vocals, a touch that turns the track from potential dance floor hit to a cathartic club experience. SLANDER continues to refresh our ears and minds with their constantly transforming sound, and we have to say that this collab with RIOT is destined to be a timeless fan favorite. “You Don’t Even Know Me” is out now on Monstercat.

Zeds Dead x Snails – Magnets ft. Akylla

While a love song isn’t necessarily what you’d expect from the inventor of a genre called “Vomitstep,” that’s exactly what Snails has created on his newest release “Magnets.” Produced in collaboration with heavyweights Zeds Dead and live electronic duo Akylla, “Magnets” is a rollercoaster ride through a passionate relationship, complete with dramatic vocals, stabbing percussion and goosebump-inducing bass. To sum up the track, Snails says “Magnets‘ is all about putting together beautiful melodies and vocals with intense basslines to create a powerful love song. The mix of all our styles complimented each other exactly how we wanted and so happy how the song came out.” A romantic ballad for the modern basshead, “Magnets” is guaranteed to create some serious flames on the dancefloor this fall. It’s out now as a co-release between Snails‘s Slugz Music and Zeds Dead‘s Deadbeats labels.

NETSKY – Ice Cold ft. David Guetta

“Ice Cold” opens the duality of upcoming Palmtrees & Powerlines, the two-part project that explores both NETSKY’s magnetic brand of pop music (on Palmtrees) and his genre-bending innovation as a creator of club tracks (on Powerlines). “Ice Cold”, with its dancefloor vibes, finds its home in Powerlines, where previously released “Téquila Limonada” feat. A.CHAL, aligns with Palmtrees. Each song from Palmtrees & Powerlines will find a place within one of these two worlds NETSKY has built.
