Take/Five has returned for another release via Trap Nation after his hugely successful Trap Nation single “Requiem”, which has now received well over 10 million plays on Trap Nation’s YouTube channel. Diverging from the darker trap influences of “Requiem”, Take/Five now applies his talents to a more uplifting electro track in the form of his new single “Tell Me”. “Tell Me” manages to echo the catchy songwriting talent of artists such as Porter Robinson and Madeon while still maintaining Take/Five’s powerful trap production sensibilities.
In addition to “Requiem”, this past year also saw Take/Five’s popular collaborative remix of GTA’s “Red Lips” with Swang Collective founder Ship Wrek. So far Take/Five’s music has seen live support by producers including Diplo, Flosstradamus and Dyro, and has been featured in shows on major outlets including Apple Beats 1 and BBC Radio 1.
