As FOUREVER1, identical quadruplets Jodi, Catherine, Christina, and Janelle Pyfrom aim to conquer the music charts with “All About Tonight”, their high-energy pop single by Netherland-based producers Lasse “Pilfinger” Kramhoft and Sarah West. Written by West and executive produced by FOUREVER1’s manager, American Idol music master Randy Jackson, the empowering track by the sister group discovered on YouTube, encourages fans to step out of their comfort zones. FOUREVER1’s “All About Tonight” and its remixes by Sean Finn, Bimbo Jones, Tavo, Jason Kohlmann release in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and all of Scandinavia on Spotify today, November 18.
“These girls are the next Fifth Harmony”, declares Sean Finn, named best national dance act in Germany in 2012 and 2014. As a producer, Finn dominates the electronic music scene worldwide. He’s had five No 1 hits on the German dance charts and numerous top tens in Europe, including his latest single, “The Rhythm of the Night“. Additionally, his highly rated radio program plays weekly in Germany as well as on many global radio stations. “Sure, being quads makes the girls interesting, but it’s their incredible talent that really makes FOUREVER1 so special,” he adds.
First unleashed in the USA by Randy Jackson, Finn plans to bring FOUREVER1’s blazing Bahamian spice to European dance floors. Each sister brings her own unique talent to the group. Quiet, introspective Christina is the primary songwriter and style conscious fashionista. Janelle is the business-minded sister who goes over all of their paperwork with a fine-toothed comb. Catherine is the video conceptualist and the group’s peacemaker, and Jodi is the stern, no-nonsense closer who makes sure FOUREVER1 remains on course.
Catherine plays guitar, Janelle and Christine play piano, and Jodi plays drums, but its their exemplary vocal skills that really make the girls stand out from other bands. Says Catherine, “When we sing together, we sound like other artists do when their vocals are stacked. Like one voice! We do harmonies, of course, but we also break off for solo leads.”
FOUREVER1’s first single, “All about Tonight”, is a sexy, liberating, turn-down-the-lights and turn-up-the-heat club bumper about where the mind goes to and how the body flows when Friday night arrives. “We hope our music delivers a special message to all people who are courageous enough to pursue their dreams,” says Jodi. “Work hard, have fun, believe in yourself, always be yourself and don’t ever let anyone change you.”
