In 2016, after being signed to Armada Music & having some initial success, realized that 1. We were no longer making music that were passionate about, and 2. That were creating too similar of content with the same branding to other acts. We, therefore, set out to create a music group that others were not building, to step out of our comfort zones and to try something new both musically & brand wise. This is why we created the Far Out project.
Our act revolves around two anonymous characters that have returned to earth from the farthest reaches of space. Our music, sound and branding are completely built around this, with the hope of creating something unique and innovative that sets us apart from other artists. Our sound is a unique blend between cinematic movie/ space scores, dance music, and rock & roll.
After a full year of writing new music and finalizing our project details, we debuted this past August 17th with our 2 track EP called ‘Contact’ via Lowly Palace / Trap Nation. It’s gathered 2 million+ streams across platforms thus far. Our newest single ‘Truest Lies’ feat. Karra just released this past Thursday, September 21st.
